Are you feeling stuck in a cycle of anxiety, depression, or just not quite feeling like yourself? Maybe you wake up knowing something needs to change, but you’re not sure where to start. You might be struggling with ADHD, low self-esteem, LGBTQ+ issues, family difficulties, or something that’s harder to put into words. Whatever has brought you here, therapy can give you a space to slow things down, understand what’s happening, and begin finding a way forward.
I’m Ania, an integrative psychotherapist, and I work with adults facing a wide range of challenges. My approach is warm and open, but I won’t try to fit you into a particular way of thinking. Instead, we’ll look at your experiences, the patterns you’ve developed and what might be keeping you stuck.
Having lived in Poland, the USA and the UK, I’ve experienced different cultures, ways of living and ideas about who we’re expected to be. It’s given me a real appreciation of how much our background can shape the way we see ourselves and our relationships. I also spent ten years representing Poland in judo, which taught me plenty about pressure, resilience, self-doubt and pushing through difficult moments. These experiences naturally shape the way I work with people today.
My work is also informed by neuroscience and our growing understanding of how the brain and nervous system respond to experiences. This helps us look beyond simply managing symptoms and explore what may be underneath your difficulties.
Here’s how I can help:
Anxiety & Depression: We’ll make sense of the patterns keeping you stuck and find ways to feel more at ease and more in control of your life.
ADHD: We’ll explore how your brain works, what gets in the way, and develop strategies that fit you rather than forcing you to work against yourself.
Low Self-Esteem: We’ll look at where that critical inner voice comes from and work towards feeling more comfortable and confident in who you are.
LGBTQ+ Support: A space to talk openly about your identity, relationships, coming out, internalised shame or anything else you’ve had to navigate as an LGBTQ+ person. No explaining or editing yourself required.
Family Issues: Whether it’s ongoing conflict, complicated family dynamics or old experiences that still affect you, we’ll explore what’s happening and what you want your relationships to look like.
I offer a free 15-minute telephone conversation so we can have a quick chat and see whether I might be the right therapist for you.
